Thursdays are Great with a little Crazy Eight!

Thursday is always a weird day of the week for me. During the school year, I love Thursdays because it means it is almost Friday, and therefore almost the weekend! Plus, The Office comes on...yummers, JKras=Hawt!
During the summer, Thursdays are the complete opposite. They mean another week of summer vacay is almost over...and The Office is on hiatus. ( I <3 Jim 4eva! )

My Wednesday was fraught with adventure! As soon as Twitter (I <3 U Twitter!) told me that Rob was all kinds of sexy in the new US Weekly...well, I hads to have it!
This RobWeekly adventure is a prime example of how I do things...let me explain. My gut instinct told me to go to Barnes & Noble because their business IS books, publications, mass media...duh! But, my other side of my brain ( I call her DUMBIE) said, "check the local spots before you drive all the way to B&N! I knew I shouldn't have trusted DUMBIE but as usual I NEVER follow my first instinct and consequently went to Target, H.E.B Grocery, Walgreens, and CVS pharmacies...all in vain.Some of those places still had US Weekly's from, like, two weeks ago? Guess who had it? Motherf@cking B&N!

Regardless, here are the fruits of my labor...

8 Things I Am Looking Forward To:
1. Seeing Bobby Long, Marcus Foster, and Sam Bradley in Austin this August.

2. Buying a new desk and re-doing a room in my home all 4 real office style. I plan on putting the SSOT posters on the wall. No shame! I will be proud!

3. Getting a proper manicure. I stopped biting my nails a few months ago and have been painfully waiting this whole weird, weak, fragile, breaky phase out.
Stop taunting me Rob!

4. Finding out if I got a job I applied for...not leaving education but could be leaving the classroom to be a "instructional specialist" for the district. Thx @NaughtySparkle for making this little gem! Yes, Rob...you are so smart and smexy....I know, I know...YOU are a "educator" too!

5.Finishing all this stupid laundry (i hate, loathe, despise, & abominate hanging/folding laundry!)
Dude, I would totally wash YOUR clothes if needed (prob.is needed). You really don't need to wear that shirt...again. Go ahead, take it off...

6. Finishing my last two graduate classes and making my last tuition payment.
Ka-ching! No tuition=more $$$ for Twilight/Rob crap, I mean Twilight/Rob merch.

7. My sister to finish Twilight. If you are familiar with this little saga in the making, then you feel my pain!

8. Seeing New Moon in November!
I was considerate to the NM virgins who lurk or stalk (in some cases) this little neighborhood by not using a spoilerish pic. I didn't see Twilight in the theaters so I am really excited.


8 Favorite Quotes/Scenes from Rob's Movies:

1. Twilight: Biology Class Scene

The first proper meeting is the my favorite Twilight scene. The science teacher in me loves it so much. In addition to my inner science nerd getting its swerve on, RobWard is so f@ckin' hawt! His laughs, looks, and eye-sex kill me!

2. Twilight: The Kiss

Let's set aside it is the slowest kiss ever...that just makes that much hotter! It kills me how different he looks at the start of that scene. I kinda get why Rob sometimes says he thinks he looks like an alien. But the hot alien kills me when he tells Bella about his pro-style stalker ways when she asks how long he has been coming into her room, "Just the past couple of months. I like watching you sleep. I find it fascinating."

3. How To Be: Visiting the Ex at Work
She is a teacher (we are just so hawt) and Art visits his EX in the "kids loos" (what are YOU doing in here?) with a book, a creepy old dude, and the best line in the whole movie: "Shaddup in 'ya face!"

4. How To Be: Art's a Bad Volunteer
This Leads to this...

5. How To Be: Art Grows Up

This scene comes complete with Pep Talks, fake audience roaring, and the worst three person band to ever live...well, maybe not. "You have just as much right to be out there as anybody else, yeah! Yeah! Just do it! (gives self a little chin nudge)"

6. Bad Mother's Handbook: The Library Clusterf@ck

Poor Daniel. He is new to school, immediately crushes on the "grumpy old bag"! He brings said "grumpy old (preggers) bag" flowers, chocolates, and some pretty mean medical facts! Plus, he get a kiss...a revenge kiss but a kiss, nonetheless. Oh, and he rocks out for a few seconds...


7. Bad Mother's Handbook: The Almost Kiss

So, he knows she is knocked up. Doesn't care because, "she is the only thing keeping him sane." Awwwww! He goes in for the kiss and is DENIED! Stupid grumpy old bag. That's Robert F@cking Pattinson! In all seriousness (did I just say that?) it is a very sweet scene. Daniel is a Geekward lover's dream come true!

8. The Haunted Airman: The Massage/Sponge Bath
This movie is, well, it's, uh, different. It is a BBC television adaptation of some old Brit book I have never heard of...anyways, Robert plays Toby "The Juggler" Jugg, injured and possibly deranged RAF pilot. He is dark, broody, and paranoid the whole movie. He is in bed and shirtless a lot so it's total WIN! The highlights are his scenes with his nurse. NOT just because she gives him deep tissue massages and bathes him BUT because he actually smiles and talks to her like a normal person. It is in this film that we discover Robert has a bunch of little "beauty marks" or "moles" (?) all over his front and back sides...all I can do is imagine how I would give them all their own names...sorry, my crazy came out. Why bother with quotes...just enjoy the goods.
