How To Be is Definitely for Me!

It is well known in these here parts that my favorite Robert Pattinson movie is
How To Be
.
I know it is utter blasphemy for my fave NOT to be Twilight but I call 'em as I see 'em...
I love Twilight but I really, really, really, love HTB. I love the film's nuances, its dry humor, its overt humor, its awkwardness, and I sort of have a thing for Brit accents!
Not to mention I just flat out find Art Freeman attractive.
Like, really attractive.
If I could freeze frame Rob in a moment in time, this would be it... the hair, the scruff, the laugh, the smile, although not the clothes...
You could say I have a thing for the nerdy, odd-ball, grungy type and you would be right!
I made Cutie at Super Secret Twilight Blog watch it! I threatened to take her precious away is she did not do her Rob Homework, so bit the bullet and watched it.
(*the precious*)

She even sent me this to prove she was doing it!
Cutie now worships at the Altar of Art...see I told you so!

I uploaded the DVD extras for you all to see, but not all of them because you should buy the DVD! The DVD is currently available for purchase from Amazon UK in PAL Region 2 format and will be released in the USA on November 3rd.
Even if you don't care to see this movie or have already seen it, or are already bored of me talking about it check out the DVD extras! They are Robolicious!
Giggly Rob is FTW!!!

Arthur Freeman, I love you. Even if you are annoyingly needy and aimlessly complacent.
(*see, I know smart words*)

Plot/Pics:

Robert plays Arthur Freeman.
25 year old University Graduate. Shiftless. Tired. Depressed. Recently dumped. Living at home. "Things are getting worse not better. I think I might be passive depressive."

Arthur decides it is time to fix his life, fix his family, and fix his relationships.
Mother: "Why are you smiling?"
Art: "I got a surprise for you and dad."
Mother: "Don't say that dear."

He hires a "famous" self-help book guru to come and teach him "How To Be" normal.
Really, Art is looking to be accepted and loved.
Check out Dr. Ellington's website!
He and his friends, Ronny and Nikki, wander London looking for purpose...and chicks.
Ronny: "Therapy was invented in the sixties, do you know what invented means? It means it doesn't exist."

Teasers:
3 Teaser Scenes from the Film
Rob sings and plays guitar in this movie. Not necessarily how we have heard him sing and play guitar before...Art is no Rob!

Art plays basketball at the center he volunteers at...in this case "Art" does imitate life. Rob can't play basketball, either, we know this!

This is Cutie's fave scene. Uhm, not sure why...

Extras:
These outtakes and extras are from the How To Be DVD (UK Version). They are basically Robert trying not to laugh at everything! So very, very cute. They are really drinking the entire time in the pub scene and it is obviously "enhancing" their good time as they shoot this scene.
I love the DVD extras...lots of ROB! Lots of laughing ROB! Drinking ROB! Did I mention he is fighting his laughter almost every 3o seconds...so frickin' cute. *thud*.
Sorry, the sound isn't great...not sure how to fix that. You can hear everything it's just a bit of background noise with it. Whatever, just LOOK at Robert!

How To Be is my fave Rob film too and I love love love the extended scenes, so funny :) x

How to be is as well one of my fav Rob's movies. The movie was just so funny and he was so vulnerable in a different (real) way than Twilight. I can't wait for it to be available in the US to buy it. Even my tweens like the movie and was able to see Rob other than "Edward". Thanks for sharing!

So is it possible to buy it online and where? Aimee and I have been waiting patiently b/c we watched it and are DYING to own it! Email us and let us know where we can get our hands on it! applesnfeathers@gmail.com

Firstly:I love this post!

Secondly: Thank GOD I listened to you and didn't have to part with the precious! There would have been much weeping and gnashing.

Thirdly:How to Be is my favorite Rob movie too! THE END.

Fourthly: I love when you use big words. It's makes me shiver.

Fifthly: That clip, the one of him with the counters, gives me shivers... just imagine you are the counters... *eyes go unfocused* what was I saying??

Oh yeah: My tv screen looks sofa king cute on your blog.

And lastly: cutie did see that movie and she thought if fucking rocked.

I need to see this fricking movie already. Oh, and I could most definitely relate to this:

You could say I have a thing for the nerdy, odd-ball, grungy type and you would be right!

Um, you had me at "nerdy, odd-ball," and "grungy." Totally my type!

I love this movie so much! I can't wait to own it. Oh how I love Art. So sweet!

I've been neglecting my commenting duties for the last week. Bad marie, BAD! Now that I've finished scolding myself...

I think I'd have to agree with you and cutie, this is possibly my favorite Rob movie. Art is funny, awkward and I can't forget adorkable!
And those Brit accents are effing HOT!
