The EPICness that was this weekend can only be broken down if I take it one day at a time! My thoughts on New Moon will be posted tomorrow!
Thursday:
1. My sister and I waited in line at the theater for many, many, many hours. I didn't see Twilight on the big screen, so I was clearly unprepared for the BOREDOM that can occur while you sit on a theater floor...for many, many, many hours.
2. To cure this "boredom" I decided to do something I had never done before... I decided to call one of my bloggy pals on the phone. Yes, chickies, believe it or not I have never spoken to a fellow Bloggy Twi-lover on the phone before. You are all just internet entities to me...or were...
3. I Twi-drunk dialed Tasha. That conversation, went something like this:
"Hello, is this Tasha?" "Ummm, yeah, who is this?" "It's Ang..." "OOOOOOOMMMMMMYYYYYYYYGGGGGAAAAWWWWWDDDDDD!"
Tasha was sitting in a theatre with her pals waiting to see Twilight on the big screen before New Moon. I am utterly jealous...I wanted to see Robward's big finguhs on the big screen so I could have a big smile (in my pants) on my face. I think Tasha was not only suprised I called but a little pleased. I credit her with breaking my internet pal cherry. And once it was broken....I slutted out. Big time.
4. I told Cutie I would be texting her New Moon night, but she and @Memory_Jean beat me to the punch and called me. That was a hoot and a half. It was at this point that I realized that NO ONE sounded like I thought they would on the phone... they sound better. I love you all.
Memory and Cutes were waiting in line to see Twilight too...(dammit, did everyone's theatre show this before New Moon? i hate you cinemark, you dirty filthy bitches with no hearts).
5. At this point I am drunk with power and demanding people call me...
@Marie2450 called me next! She is beyond sweet. I told her of my shenanigans that night and they odd people surrounding me in the lines...there were about 8 lines in my theater. With well prepared people, who brought DVD players, lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, cards, and lots of attitude. I brought my sister...who had JUST finished reading New Moon THAT MORNING.
6. Next, I talked to @sjAimee...who has the sweetest Texas twang this side of the Colorado. I loved it. I want to sound like her. At this point I think my night is complete because I have talked to all of my OG's...
7. Then, I get a tweet from @FireCr0tch calling me out for ignoring her... so I called her too. She and Bitches were flirting with high school boys and making them kiss their mini-Alice doll...you know, a typical weekend. This conversation led to me being invited to Chicago for the Eclipse opening weekend and me telling Tasha she has to come too... I may or may not have committed her to going to Dallas to meet Memory, Cutie, Marie2450 and who the hell knows who else for Remember Me.
8. All of this happened before I got to see New Moon.
9. And then I saw New Moon....
10. And then...I DIED. Friday:
1. I awoke with what I would call a New Moon hangover. Blood shot eyes, twitchy fingers, screaming out Edwards name, and being thoroughly pissed that MY theater did not show the Remember Me trailer.
2. What's better than a little hair of the wolf, right? So, I geared up for ROUND 2. This time the sis and I took my dad to see New Moon. I figure if I always take at least one new person with me, then it's like I am giving them a "gift" and not just being Robwardly selfish. Yes?
3. Fuck me Tybert! They showed the Remember Me Trailer this time. It took everything I had in me to NOT hump the screen...with my dad present...and other humans...and it's weird...BUT still, I had to fight my inner sex demon to NOT hump that screen when Rob is in that bed...UNF!!!!
4. And then I saw New Moon.
5. And then...I DIED...again.
Saturday:
1. I casually asked my brother if HE wanted to go see New Moon....my treat...of course. He was a no go. I was sadface.
2. THEN, I got a text from my favorite New Yorker who will go unnamed (*wink*) that she found some good download links for New Moon online. LOOK, I am NOT above downloading this movie because I know I will spend ample money on it, it's merchandise, it's soundtrack, and will buy the DVD when it's released. Lecture all you want. I see the download as a "fix" in the meantime.
3. I downloaded and watched New Moon twice on Saturday.
4. And I DIED...some more.

Ahahahah! What a great post! I went to see NM on its opening night here (the 18th) with a couple of friends. I have already organized to go with another friend, then another friend. Of course separate occasions, because, you know, I wanna see it MANY times while it's in the theatres! :) I have downloaded the movie too. I don't feel guilty about it. Not one bit. I will spend a shitload (at least for me) of money for this movie, so I *deserve* my fix in between, right? ;) No Remember Me trailer here in Italy, thank God for the internet. I can't freaking wait to see it! And Kristen's movies too, both "The Runaways" & "Welcome to the Rileys". *sighs* So much to look forward too! But for now, I just wanna bask in the New Moon, and especially Robward, afterglow. :)
Oh Ang, we are soo on the same page!! I first saw New Moon here in Australia on Thursday morning 10am- They did have a midnight showing that I desperately wanted to go to, however I get up for work at 4:30am (didnt think i'd be able to cope with 2 hours sleep) Thursday evening I went with 2 of my kids, my best buddy & her daugher, My Aunt & 2 of my cousins.. My 6 year old still wants to see it, My hubby wants to see it & my Mum wants to see it.. I am going to take one at a time (so at least 3 more times on the big screen).. Woot! I downloaded the cam copy too(it's ok veiwing on my mobile phone) Have RPatz will travel i call it! As I will be paying to see New Moon At least 5 times i dont consider downloading it a travesty. I will buy the DVD and merchandise too.. I feel no guilt..hehe

The first time I saw the epicness (Thursday midnight), I didn't have the "Remember Me" trailer. And I was truly, truly verklempt. The second time I saw the epicness (Friday morning), the trailer was in place. And I was truly, truly ecstatic. I cannot WAIT to see it. Along with "Lovely Bones," which also looked amazing!
As for the leak... I'm currently trying to download a copy of it. Hopefully this one works, because the first one was a no dice. ::fingers crossed::

Lmao, you never fail to make me laugh with your comments bb. I felt exactly the same. Our cinema is so badly organized I knew I had to go prepared, so I had the snacks, drinks & book all squirrelled away in my bag...couldn't convince anyone to come with me to the midnight show :(

Headed off to see it again for the 3rd time tomorrow (always best on the big screen hon, gotta take advantage of seeing Rob larger than life whilst you can you know *grin*)
Ahh I guess you can't really put the link of where you got NM on yr blog, but is there some way you could let us possibly know...Don't think I'll be able to last from last screening at cinema, till dvd comes out.
It was so wonderful talking with you while waiting in line!!! Although I must admit, you're probably much sweeter than I am since I threatened to poke some girls' eyes out if they didn't stop screaming in my damn ear. I think I even told you about that on the phone, didn't I?
P.S. I've got a downloaded copy of NM on it's way over to my house as I'm typing this. I agree with you, it's only to hold me off for a few months.

You crack me up! I died at my screenings because Billy Burke came to one and then Pellan to the other. Yeah I was a few seats over when JJ proclaimed her love for KLutz. Total WIN - except they didn't win. :-(
