Post Holiday Fic Edition

I am in a post holiday slump.

1. Got some family stuff going on right now, so I won't be on as much for a while.
2. The 12 Days of Robmas almost killed me...there is a reason I am not an everyday blogger...that little endeavor totally reminded me of why that is.

3. Rob is in hiding. (I just saw the newest pic of him...in London...very beardy...and apparently pissed...I closed my eyes and turned away...I shall pretend I didn't see it.)

4. Meh. I am using the f*bomb a lot right now...if it offends you, sorry. It's a coping mechanism...okay, it's just how I talk.



5. I am in a fic reading frenzy. I am in riding in cars a lot right now traveling and me and my trusty iPhone are bonding over fan fiction.

Completed Fics I Read

1. The Tutor by ItzMegan73

I have a feeling I am last on the bus with this story too. No biggie, I usually am last on the bus. I loved this story in a BIG way. Big, BIG, B-I-G way. I forgot how much I liked reading completed fics, it just flows better, you can really dig in. I couldn't stop reading this one. I also forgot how much I love high school Edward and Bella. Le sigh. Oh, and Edward's learning disability...heartfail...but so good.

2. Age of Consent: My Summer as a Legal Intern by littlesecret84
"Bella is almost 17 and begins an internship at the Clallam County District Court one summer. She's infatuated with her boss, Edward, a 26 year old attorney who drives her to and from work. The tension is there on Day 1, let's see where it will take them."

I had been avoiding this story for a while...for various reasons that have nothing to do with the subject matter...you don't need to know, stop being nosy...anyway, I read it. Fuck. I read it, and read it, and then read the damn outtakes and extras. Just read it. Don't judge me.

It is no secret that most of us love AngstGoddess03 like love sick fangurl pups. I admit I was a Wide Awake junkie. I read the Epi and almost cried all fucking over again 'cause that shit was good...woah, just channeled Angstward...anyway, these two stories she is currently writing are owning me. She is just good. I have a feeling ('cause I read it) she hates to be fangurled over but she never comes here so what the hell..

3. With Teeth by TalulaBlue
"Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college."
Already recc'd this a few weeks ago but if you are not reading it you should be. I am really into rehabwards right now, perhaps its the vulnerability...I don't know, I like a fucked up man that needs fixing. This one is really messed up. He is also very sweet and of course, hot as a firebomb.

4. Like So Much Trash by gallantcorkscrews

Gallantcorkscews wrote The Emperors of Washington. I loved that sick little twisted psycho-serial killerward so much. That fic is compete if you want to read it. She writes different. I can imagine she isn't for everyone but I like different, and I like odd, and I like her...so, read it. It's only one chapter in so you might want to wait for it to develop more but I am a fan of her style.

5. Late Night Encounters by kyla713 "Lonely ER doc Edward Cullen goes online one night to relieve some tension, never expecting to find what was awaiting him."

Holy fucklesticks, Phonesexward where have you been all my life? Well, it's Onlinesexward, Phonesexward, Skypesexward, you get the picture...and believe me...you do. Best part? The E & B banter is better than the sexy times. Good stuff that is.
