God, beer me the strength...
Hope your holidays were restful or at least enjoyable.
Mine were restful and at times enjoyable.
Can't complain.
Well, I can.
I am sure I have.

-On to this week's fabulous fan fiction recommendations-
(Work in Progress-All Human-Mature)
"One kiss sparks the clues, but what do they all mean? Bella dreams of her future self, knowing the life she lives ends in tragedy. How can she change her story when she already knows the ending? The door is there, but where is the key?"
I haven't been this excited or floored by a story in a long time!
I know I probably come across as a "squee" bunny with all my rec's but this one is special.
I tried to start this story about 8 times. I would read the first paragraph and then just drift away. I don't know why. But last night I read the first 2 chapters, promptly emailed my Tasha that she needed to read this stat, and then proceeded to stay up until 4 am to catch up to the latest chapter.
It's a mystery, it's a fantasy, it's an amazingly touching love story.
I am so in love with this Bella and Edward that I just can't...
I am scared. I am entranced, and for lack of total filter, I am turned on like a firecracker reading this one. Bonus: it JUST got to a critical part, so now is a perfect time to jump on this one.

This reminds me of this story.

"There's a dusty old bookstore in Seattle where the proprietor keeps odd hours and knows the location of every book in his stock. What surprises hide in its stacks?"
This Cullen family is different than the traditional take on the Cullen Family, with some members leaving, joining, or missing at different times than canon. It creates another type of family that Bella is encountering. Edward owns an old bookstore in Seattle, Bella wanders in and no one is the same. The first part of uses erotic poetry to weave Edward's thoughts in the storyline to great effect.
Oh my.

I just read For Whom the Bell Tolls last week and I love it. I can't wait to start the other you recc'ed. Thanks Ang
My pal Fran just rec'd Through the Oak door to me yesterday!
I love copRob in all gray. That original puke green door kinda reminded of 70s avocado must haves--frig, tub, oven. LOL
TT's correct, yesterday I accidentally "Went Through the Oak Door" and found myself stuck there. I'd never read a mystery ff and this one is so well written, and erie.. and the author has already replied to my reviews with sharp and insightful answers. She's a writer of other ff as well as published pieces. This is her first stab at "scary" and I know she'd appreciate everyone's support. Give her a shout out. I promise you will love this story, it owns me!
Going to bookmark "Whom the Bell Tolls" Thanks!
Yes. Gray/Black suit manip is nice!!!!!
Oak Door is fantastic. I haven't been so excited over a fic in a while. Thanks for the comments!
Woah! Just read ALL of the posted chapters of 'Through The Oak Door'....couldn't stop, actually. What a cool story and pretty suspenseful. You're kind of reading with a sense of dread....damn, now I have ANOTHER one to hover over until it updates! But what a great fic!!

I like to know your thoughts. They are so deep and fascinating, I mean, dirty and funny.
